Application Of Subliminal Messages

Subliminal messages can be used anywhere there is a medium present for transmitting thoughts covertly. For example pictures, movies and audio.

As long as there is an open channel for communication then messages that appeal and implant using subterfuge can be placed within that overt communication.

However, there has to be a reason for the hidden message and a motive for implanting it and therefore in most cases advertising is the key industry that makes use of subliminal messages.

After all the goal of advertising is to persuade and coax us into brand or product familiarity as well as entice us to try or use products. Therefore, subliminal messages are almost a natural extension of that process!

It is not a coincidence that it is only in advertising that subliminal messages have been banned,

However, their usage can be widespread and extend to any situation were the outcome can be manipulated subtly towards a prescribed direction.

For example, in politics and religion. Two areas that have more sinister overtones but for which the potential gains are much greater for those involved in perpetrating such acts of manipulation of the masses.
